It will not be wrong to except that morality and valuse took birth in human societies when two more or more human beings began to live together. When an individual is all alone , there is probably no
necessity for any moral code. Where there is one more individual with me it becomes necessary for both of us to mutually evolve a set of codes and accept them so that we both can lives a happy , peaceful and comfortable life . To evolve such cods we should have to anticipate situations involving both of us in our thinking , feelings and action .
Different human societies in different parts of the world including many river valley habitations. evolved laws and codes to take their societies towards peace and progress. such codes were evolved for determining the right manners, right thinking, right feeling and right action of the individuals under morality. To a very great extent these codes helped them to judge human actions as right and wrong that social set-up . As human societies expanded and civilization advanced, more and more moral codes were had to be evolved , besides modifying the older codes whenever necessary. As societies advanced and some form of government was established with powers to supervise and punish wrong doers, legal codes were evolved to assist the preservation of morality. the basic difference between a legal code and moral code is that disobedience to the former is punishable whereas the same is not true with disobedience to the latter. the legal codes are deterrent on all such persons who may be tempted to do wrong by breaking the law. the legal codes may frequently change but the moral codes relatively do not. some moral codes are unchangeable.

2. Read the passage given below and answer the questions that follow :
The National Museum as we see it today in the majestic building that majestic building on the corner of janpath and maulana Azad Road, New Delhi is the prime museum of the country. The blueprint for establishing the national museum had been prepared by the Gwyer Committee set up by government of India in 1946. When an exhibition of Indian Art consisting to selected artifacts from various museums of India was on display in the galleries of Burlington House, Londen in 1947-48, it was decided to display the same collection under a single roof in Delhi before the return of exhibits to their respective museums.
Accordingly, the return of exhibits was held in the Rashtrapati Bhavan , New Delhi in 1949. It proved repsonsible for the creation of national Museum. On the auspicious day of the 15th August, 1949, it was inaugurated formally by the Governor -general of India , Shri R.C. rajgopalachari, and it was announced that till a permanent building of the national museum would continue to function in the rastrapati bhavan. The foundation of new building was laid on 12 may 1955 by pt. J.L. Nehru prime minister of india. Now it is under the administrative control and fully financed by the dept. of culture , ministry of human resource & development , Govt . of India.
