The poet is in love for Anne thinks her lover is in great despair because of her yellow hair . These are visible on the back of her ear. She thinks that he will not mind her hair but love her alone . She is ready to dye them brown, black or carrot for his sake, so that he may love her alone and not her yellow hair. He heard a holy man yesterday night with a declaration. It is from her lover . It states that only God could love her alone . There the yellow hair had got no meaning . So to attain supreme bliss, we must love God .
